2022 Football Season is Here

HEAD COACH

It is with great e Coach Les Rolfe Jr

xcitement that the Jefferson High athletic department announce the hiring of Les Rolfe Jr as our next Head Football Coach. Coach Les played three sports in college (football,basketball and baseball). After college he became a basketball coach for 6 years at the collegiate level. Coach Les has also been a high school football coach in Colorado for the past 16 years. Coached at Denver South where several players went to the pro's. He served as the Defensive Coordinator and Associate Head Coach. He then went to 5A Bear Creek High with Coach Thynell. He spent more than 5 years coaching at Mullen High School, following Head Coach Tom Thynell. He has several young men that have played for him in The NFL,CFL and College.

Coach Rolfe was also a Basketball Coach for the Oklahoma Magic, an AAU basketball team that is represented by Adidas.

We are very excited to have Coach Rolfe on board and cannot wait for all the excitement that his coaching staff will bring” SkoSaints!!

Assistant Coach - Defensive Coordinator/Defensive Backs
Quincy Wofford, UNC

Quincy Wofford - Coach Rolfe has hired Quincy Wofford as the Defensive Coordinator for our Jefferson Saints. Coach Wofford will also work with our defensive backs. After a successful High School career he the went on to play at University of Northern Colorado. He then went on to try out in the NFL and had a small stint with the Tampa Bay Bucs. Coach Wofford then became an assistant serving as the defensive backs coach at Mullen. He is very knowledgeable of the defensive positions and will be a great asset to the Jefferson Saints.

Assistant Coach - Offensive Coordinator/Backs
Randy Girtin. - Buzzy’s son, Randy Girtin put the family name back on the all-city lists in baseball and all-city and all-state in football at Denver West, leaving in 1974 for Western State College in Gunnison, where he became an all-conference receiver. Randy Girtin entered the coaching ranks and was on Dave Logan’s staffs at Mullen when the Mustangs ruled the state in high school football much of the past decade. In 2016, he entered his 36th year of coaching at Lakewood High School. Coach Rolfe is please to have someone of Coach Girtin's experience, expertise and state title resume on his staff. Assistant Coach - Defensive Line
Ian Vigil - played football and wrestled for Mullen where he was a state placer in wrestling. He will be serving as the Defensive Line coach for the Saints as well as Weights and Conditioning Coach.

Assistant Coach - Linebackers
Graham Yearling - played college football and will be overseeing the production of the linebackers.
